From Princeton, Indiana, Judge Wilson graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
Judge Wilson said “It is an incredible honor to be selected as a bankruptcy judge. I am in this position because of the many people who have helped me on my way, personally and professionally. I’m grateful to all of them. Additionally, it is not lost on me that I’m tasked to succeed the irreplaceable Honorable Judge Joseph M. Meier. While it is not possible to replace Judge Meier, I am committed to follow his example of hard work, enthusiasm for the rule of law and bankruptcy law in particular and fully hear the parties that come before the Court with an open mind.”
